Selkirk Lifestyle Home's customer service is here for you, we value the trust you have placed in us by choosing us as your new home builder. It is our homeowner's responsibility to let us know if they require service. If you have an item you would like us to look at submit your request in writing on the appropriate form.

Every home Selkirk Lifestyle Homes builds is covered by the Tarion 7 year new home warranty as well as our own comprehensive warranty. We have been building homes for satisfied customers for over twenty years, we have been there for your neighbours and we will be there for you too.

Tarion provides many helpful publications to help new home owners understand their warranty coverage. The January 1 2019 Edition of the Construction Performance Guidelines is a handy reference guide intended to help homeowners understand which work and material defects in new homes are covered under the Tarion warranty.

Requesting Service

How to Request Service

Selkirk Lifestyle Homes home owners must submit their service requests on the provided Tarion 30 day, one year and two year forms in order to report deficiencies in their new home. Once you fill out your form, submit it to us, we will review the form and contact you. Many Tarion forms can now be submitted online, information regarding the timelines for submitting service requests and additional copies of the Tarion Warranty forms are available here. Home Maintenance

Even though your home is brand new it still requires regular and seasonal maintenance. Regular maintenance is the best way to protect your investment and helps you to spot potential problems now before they can become larger problems later. Getting into the routine of performing regular maintenance shortly after you move in is the best way to protect your investment for years to come.
